Impossible to pick a favourite as each time you go there’s another range to pick from, and each one better than the last. Team your cake with a yummy frappe or a gorgeous hot chocolate/mocha made with actual chocolate rather than powder and you’re set up for the day If you haven’t got a sweet tooth, then the savouries are equally as good. Nice chunky toasties with thick, tasty bread and a generous filling will definitely keep you going. Or the massive breakfast sandwiches are definitely for the more hungry. The only problem with visiting here is the fact that it’s too hard to make a choice. Fantastic food, both English and Polish. Excellent drinks. Really good value for money and really pleasant and friendly staff. These are the qualities that make me happy to come back time after time
Pati and the team at Paticake Patisserie put on a fabulous afternoon tea for 14 of us, for my colleagues leaving occasion. Pati was so accommodating and made sure that every request was perfect. Everyone got to pick their own cake and the rest of the afternoon tea was delicious. They even provide boxes to take any leftovers home. Wonderful food, Fabulous cakes and First class service! I would highly recommend this lovely little patisserie. If you have never been then please make a special trip and see for yourself why it is the best in Sunderland!
We visited for the first time last week. What a brilliant place. Friendly staff, cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Coffee was lovely and had a cake/tart to with it. When we left we bought a Biscoff cheesecake for home. That was delicious So much choice of cakes, scones, pasties etc. Will definitely be back soon. People need to support these wonderful local businesses instead of big conglomerate business who aren't personable like this. Keep up the good work guys

This is a very impressive patisserie, even if you aren't a cake lover, it is very impressive! There are so many types of cake to choose from that vary from classics to unique. The cakes are all beautifully baked and decorated. The portion sizes are very generous. It is definitely worth coming here to treat yourself or a loved one. The staff are very friendly too.
